Greetings from the East

Brothers, there are many exciting events coming up in May.  First, on May 10th there will be a 3rd degree put on by the Shrine Past Masters.  If you have never seen or even if you have seen a degree put on in full costume, it is a really neat experience.  We usually only get around one a year so be at the Lodge on May 10th at 7:00 P.M.  Later in May will be our Picnic and Tug-O-War with Eldora.  I hope to have a strong showing so we can get our Trophy back and have some leverage to get the Picnic down in Ames next year!

In last months newsletter I mentioned we would be voting on the By-law changes for this year.  For those of you who were not at the meeting the changes were passed.

As always we are busy with degree work this month.  On April 12th, we will be having a 1st degree; on April 17th, will be two 2nd degrees; and on April 26th, will be a 3rd degree.

We are having a lot of new faces participating in our degree work as of late and it has been wonderful.  If you are interested in participating and haven't had a chance to learn a part practices are being held most Sundays 4:30-6:00 P.M. out at the lodge.

Don't forget our stated meeting May 3rd at 7:30 P.M. with the $5.00 dinner at 6:30 P.M.
