Greetings from the East

Brothers, for those of you who didn't make it out this month for the stated dinner you missed out.  Eastern Star cooked a wonderful meal and wouldn't accept any payment!  I urge everyone who is able to make it for the meeting in October to come.  It will be our annual Fill the Lodge Night.  We almost filled the lodge this month but I want to see us getting chairs out from the back because we need more seats for everyone in attendance!

Also in October we will be having our annual Hay Rack Ride it's a great time for everyone.  Families are encouraged to attend, kids love the Clydesdales.  The date isn't set in stone yet but it will be either the 7th or the 21st, which are Sundays, in the afternoon.

Degree work is flowing like usual.  We are having a degree every Thursday night so if you want to see one or participate come on out.  The Sunday practices are back on which are from 4:30-6pm at the lodge. 

I hope to see a lot of faces for the meal on October 4th at 6:30 P.M. and the stated meeting at 7:30.P.M.
